Managing Director
Karim is a Co-Founder & Client Director of Earthara, a sustainability and ESG advisory firm. With over 13 years of experience in business operations and strategic planning, coupled with environmental engineering, he has delivered impactful contributions across diverse sectors ranging from Fortune 500 companies, global apparel brands, and high growth technology startups. His role encompasses designing comprehensive sustainability action plans that align with corporate environmental impacts, ESG value drivers, and risk mitigation. Karim has a degree in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
Rahim Emami
Managing Director
Rahim is a Co-Founder and Client Director of Earthara, with focus on corporate sustainability and ESG consulting. He brings over 15 years in management consulting and project management experience, during which he has honed his expertise across a multitude of public and private clients in various industries such as manufacturing, food and beverage, green building and consumer goods. He centers his work at developing comprehensive, strategic sustainability plans that cater to the unique needs of organizations, aligned with their environmental sustainability objectives, ESG goals, and climate impact mitigation. Rahim holds a degree in Environmental Engineering and an MS in Project Management, both from Georgia Tech, supplemented by an MBA from Emory University.
Spencer Clifford
Graduate Intern
Spencer is a Graduate Intern at Earthara, conducting research and data analysis related to corporate ESG practices. He has experience conducting Greenhouse Gas calculations and cost benefit analysis on corporate sustainability initiatives. He has also worked as part of the State Affairs & Political Mobilization in Washington D.C., on environmental policy to help create bipartisan solutions. Spencer holds a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the University of Georgia, and Master of Sustainable Energy & Environmental Management from Georgia Tech.
Rima Mehta
Sustainability & ESG Consultant
Rima is a seasoned sustainability professional with extensive experience in retail and apparel industries, who has been at the forefront of driving impactful environmental initiatives. She has led critical sustainability programs and ESG initiatives at world renowned organizations such as Nordstrom and Starbucks. Her previous experiences as a sustainability consultant also involved developing sustainability strategies for Fortune 500 companies. Rima holds a degree in Economics from New York University, and a Master’s of Science in Sustainable Development from the University of Basel.
